Organization
From the beginning, the Nashville CIO Council determined that the structure of the organization should be kept as simple as possible to maintain focus on networking and the sharing of information. Pat Camm acts as the point of contact, facilitator for the Council, and provides insulation between vendor presenters and the Council membership by distributing all Council communications.

Direction for the Council regarding presentation topics, discussion formats, membership requirements and special topics comes from the membership itself with coordination provided by a volunteer steering committee. The steering committee typically consists of about four members who work with Pat Camm on issues as they arise.

The Nashville CIO Council also nominates a member to act as a representative to the Nashville Technology Council to maintain communication between the two organizations and coordinate events that can benefit from joint participation.
